If you envy those who have perfectly curled lashes then this tool should become a staple in your makeup bag! It takes lashes like ours & transforms them into long & curled eye whiskers!!

Its like a curling iron for your eyelashes! Its so quick & convient, its battery operated so you can take it anywhere. I came across this tool 3 years ago at my local Sephora & its become a holy grail tool for me! I

 like to curl my eyelashes a little first with a conventional eyelash curler & then use the heated one to soften the harsh lines from the curler and evenly curl all the lashes. 

You place the heated comb on your mascara free lashes (avoid waterline) and hold for 15-20 seconds then release. For best results apply mascara within 30 seconds of releasing the tool from your eye. 

On the Sephora website it says you should apply mascara first but I ran into nothing but problems doing that...mascara gets on the comb & it clogs, trying to clean the mascara off of the wand was a pain. I got so frustrated doing that, that I actually took it back to Sephora & exchanged it for a new one. 

It is a little tricky to use at first but once you find your own curling rhythym you will love it!!

Let's imagine for a moment that it took 3 to concieve....

If a Lip Balm, Lip Gloss & Lip Stick got together and made a baby this product would be the outcome. 

Revlon Lip Butters have taken the beauty world by storm! A permanent part of Revlon's Spring 2012 Collection, they began their debut in late October/early November. 

It was a shy debut for them! I could not find them at any store, they were flying off the shelves! I finally snagged 6 of them mid-November! 

I LOVE them! Moisturizing, greatly pigmented & give off a nice sheen! However if you're looking for long lasting, these may not float your lip boat.

I love the packaging, the top of the tube is clear so you can see the exact color! It's not the typical lip butter/balm casing they have a very chic lipstick look to them. 

Caution: Use a light hand when applying these, if you press too hard & then twist so the product slides back down into its tube, some excess seems to spill off the side.

Available in 20 fun & yummy named shades! I currently own Berry Smoothie, Peach Parfait, Candy Apple, Lollipop, Creme Brulee & Pink Truffle.

The fine people of Influenster were generous enough to send a VoxBox to me. 

Whats a VoxBox you ask? Well its a box full of random goodies from new or current brands! It is sent to a select amount of people for reviewing purposes. My box contained the following goodies:


1. XOut Wash In Treatment
My favorite product from the entire box, this foaming face wash's main ingredient is Benzoyl Peroxide. My face was felt so clean after without feeling tight or dry. It has an easy to dispense pump. I've been using it for a little  over a week with my Clarisonic & my skin feels wonderful! Its a wash, mask & spot treatment. A 3-in-1 for only $19.95? I may purchase.


2. imPRESS Press-On Manicure
Shade: Over the Moon

I had not used press on nails since I was a little girl so when I saw these in my box my inner child giggled happily! You fit their nail sizes to best match your nail size, wipe your nails with a prep pad (alcohol wipe), pull the film on the inside on the nail & press for about 30 seconds. Voila! Manicure done! I love the length! Just a little bit of length over the nail, looks very natural. If you love nail design but don't have the time to do your own then these are perfect for you. Available in 36 different shades & less than $10!

3.NYC LipShine Lip Gloss

Shade: Nude York City

STEAL ALERT! Amazing smelling & non-sticky lip gloss for only $3!

I do hope the other shades are more pigmented, I got the nude shade but I'm not complaining. I will definitely purchase! 

4. SoftSoap Coconut Scrub Soap

Heaven in a bar? YES! Smells amazing, my skin feels amazing afterwards. Those Dove commercials that try to say bar soap is bad, obviously haven't tried these... they would be SO jealous. I've used Dove bar soap in the past and Softsoap out does them. It creates such a nice luxurious lather & gently exfoliates. Did I mention it smells amazing?! I can't wait to purchase the juicy mango bar!! 

5. LARABAR

Flavor: Chocolate... something. I forgot :)

YUMMAY!!! I've always loved Larabars, they're a great snack. If you're having one of those "I'm hungry but not hungry enough to eat a full meal" moments then I highly recommend these. I love how filling they are. 

6. Montagne Jeunesse Strawberry Souffle Mask 

It smelled like a strawberry milkshake, the mask had no significant effect on my skin after use. I don't think it suited my skin type. I am looking forward to purchasing the dead sea mud mask. I did not like the packaging, it made a messier application for me by having to squeeze it out.

I also recieved a pack of Mentos Gum in Mint. I really can't tolerate strong minty flavors or scents. My boyfriend on the other hand LOVES mint! I decided to have him test the gum out for me and he absolutely loved every piece! I also really enjoyed his constant fresh breath so thanks Mentos! :)

CoverGirl LipPerfection Lipcolor

I always swooore I would never wear lipstick. I used to dread wearing red lipstick for dance performances, it was always so drying & feathered like crazy. During one of my monthly magazine binges I saw several ads for CoverGirl's new LipPerfection Lipstick & was immediately intrigued. The ad stated that every lipstick contained a "silk renewal complex" which retains moisture in your lips, ergo, no dried up lips. CoverGirl also states that your lips will feel smooth & softer after just 7 days of using LipPerfection. So, I put them to the test.. I picked up 2 in "Hot' which is a classic red and "Spellbound" which is a hot pink fuschia with purple. It took less than 7 days for me to fall in LOVE!!! The LipPerfection's are creamy, very pigmented, long lasting & come in a wide color range. I recommend using a lip brush or a small shader brush to apply the product, applying the actual lipstick itself all over your lips may cause an overload of color. If you are a lipstick skeptic like I was I highly recommend you give these a try!!
